The Jardins d'Armide were the symbol of beauty, luxuriance and wonder, full of flowers and embalming the rarest essences.

The Great French Century does not escape myths, he who was so passionate about illusion and enchantresses.

But Armida, the most emblematic magician of the seventeenth century, a woman of great beauty and who knows the art of seducing, best embodies the ambivalent powers of charm.

Throughout the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the Jardins d'Armide were used incessantly through music (Lully, Vivaldi, Handel, Haydn, Rossini ...), painting (Poussin, Van Dyck, Tiepolo, Fragonard ...) and literature, starting point of the myth by Le Tasse in the sixteenth century.

In 1909, the famous Oriza L. Legrand Perfume House presented in its prestigious boutique 11 Place de la Madeleine, to elegant Parisians and its clientele from all over Paris, the perfume "Jardins D'Armide" in tribute to the legendary gardens and the women who symbolized them.

The Queen of Flowers, the Rose, is at the heart of this enchanting bouquet picked in the Jardin d'Armida.

The Iris of Florence and the Wild Violet powder the Wisteria and the Carnations of India, while the Honey, the Almond and the Musk bring to this tempting elixir an incomparable hold.
